Recently a long time friend died. He and I have been in regular contact for about 40 years. I miss him. I miss the emails and texts. The visits.

The reflex to send a link or text on seeing something we would share is diminishing. And because I don’t think to send the link so much, the sadness knowing there is no one there to receive the link anymore doesn’t get stirred as much.

Here’s what I wrote in the memory book. I got the picture because I didn’t want to forget.
